ROW SCHEDULE
Your row-by-row plan
Keep your original pattern beside you. Work its background stitches on every row, adding the shaping and reminders shown here.
PATTERN HELP
Planning your rows
Check repeat wording, keep track of shaping and save your progress.
What does “every 2 rows, 3 times” mean?
The first row you enter is included. Starting on row 5, every 2 rows, 3 total occurrences means rows 5, 7 and 9. But “work this row, then repeat 3 more times” means 4 total occurrences: rows 5, 7, 9 and 11.
How do simultaneous instructions work?
Add each instruction separately. If two fall on the same row, you’ll see both. Changes add together: a decrease of 1 at each edge and a separate decrease of 1 in total remove 3 stitches.
What do the stitch counts tell me?
Counts are shown after each row. Reminders don’t change the count. Cast-ons, bind-offs and knitting in the round aren’t covered.
Can you return to a saved project?
Your current plan and row progress are saved in this browser when storage is available. Use Save a copy to download a project file, then Open project to pick it up on another device. Clearing browser data can remove your local project.
How do you track shaping “at the same time”?
Give each instruction its own entry, using the same section row numbering. For example, an armhole decrease starting on row 5 every 2 rows and a neckline decrease starting on row 13 every 2 rows will both appear on row 13. “1 at each edge” removes 2 stitches; “1 in total” removes 1. Use separate entries if a pattern changes from every 4 rows to every 2 rows.
Can you correct a row or rename a project?
Use Undo a row or set the number of rows already knitted in Knit mode. Renaming a project, editing a note or changing an expected final count keeps progress when you apply it. Changing row timing, sides or stitch changes asks before resetting progress. Keep a downloaded copy before making major changes.
